100 Women. 1 Topic: Gender Equality Means Business

It was great to see so many women gathering at Binelli Group – a traditionally male dominated business and our 100th member company! We had the great opportunity to listen to a passionate C-suite advocate of gender equality and a panel of senior executives debating about the role of leaders, companies and individuals when it comes to increasing diversity.

Simona Scarpaleggia, Manager of the Global Initiative for the future of our work at IKEA Group, founder and former president of Advance, presented her book “The Other Half”. She gave an inspiring talk and discussed with Stéphanie Borge, Director Brand Management at BMW Group Switzerland, and Ruud Wilder, Executive Director at LGT Capital Partners, how they view gender diversity in their personal and professional life. They captured the audience and stirred lively participation in the discussion.
