As organizations navigate new ways of working it is essential for leaders to develop inclusive leadership behaviors to foster an environment where employees feel trusted, valued, and psychologically safe.
 
Leaders who complete this training workshop gain the foundations needed to become role models and ambassadors for inclusive leadership within their organization.
 
During this dynamic and practical workshop, participants will examine their own assumptions and biases; analyze their own and others’ behaviors; and practice skills through a series of engaging learning activities. Areas covered include:

● Traits of Inclusive Leadership
● Tools to foster inclusion in teamwork and collaboration
● Tools to build equity in processes and decision making

Outcomes

You will

  • reflect on your identity and its influence on experiences at work
  • reflect on your leadership style and behaviors that can promote inclusion and advancement of different diverse groups of people
  • reflect on the level of trust, psychological safety, and inclusion on your team
  • acquire strategies and tools for building equity, psychological safety, and greater inclusion within your team
  • develop commitments and actions to continue building your inclusive leadership practice

Target Audience

  • For female, male and all other gender managers
  • Mid-level high potential male, female and other gender managers with at least 8 years of experience and 2+ years of managing a team
  • Max. 22 participants from different Advance member companies

Format

  • Half-day workshop, 13:00 – 17:00
  • 1/2 credit per participant. Additional credits can be bought for 650 CHF per participant

Natalie Wilkins is the co-founder and Managing Partner at Thriving Talent Sarl, a D&I consultancy in Switzerland, which enables organizations to challenge the status quo and create inclusive cultures where diversity thrives. In addition to running the business, Natalie Wilkins wears the hats of consultant, leadership trainer and executive coach, and has over 20 years of international experience in the private and public sectors. Natalie has designed and led D&I programs for companies across various industries such as Credit Suisse, Pictet, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, the World Intellectual Property Organisation among others. Natalie is also an Associate Professor for the University of St Gallen training and coaching on the topics of leadership, team development, leading and influencing change, and entrepreneurship. Natalie is Greek/English and is a proud mother of two outspoken daughters.
