What was your dream career as
a girl?
I wanted to become a physician for NASA.
What was your aha-moment when you realized that gender stereotypes may (or do) have an impact on your career development?
How did you deal with it?
It happened many years ago, I had to hold a presentation with a colleague during a meeting and people attending it thought I was my colleague’s subordinate…however, I didn’t let it destabilize me. I took the place that was mine and I did it my way. The outcome was successful.
What is your number 1 advice for career aspiring women?
Surround yourself with ambitious, supportive and well-intentioned people. Also, don’t overthink things too much!
