Christina Mair co-founded and serves as co-CEO of globegarden, a big childcare operator in Switzerland. She launched the business in 2009 alongside her sister and a college friend, assuming joint C-level management roles from the outset. Today, globegarden boasts a network of over 75 centers and employs over 1,000 professionals.
In her capacity, Christina leads the organization’s vision, mission, and growth strategy, focusing on expansion through the establishment of new centers and strategic acquisitions. She directs the financial strategy and has developed a proprietary IT infrastructure. Additionally, Christina oversees marketing and brand development.
Christina’s leadership has contributed to the company’s continuous recognition as an ISO 9001 quality-certified childcare center operator for over a decade. Furthermore, globegarden has earned accolades as a “Great Place to Work”, ranking among the “Top 10 Great Large Workplaces” in Switzerland and the Top 50 in Europe.
Recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year, Christina is actively engaged in professional networks such as the YPO and the WEF Global Shapers Network and is a member of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Women’s Leadership Board. Before globegarden, she held positions at UBS AG. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and Controlling from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and HEC Jouy-en-Josas in Paris. Married to Ralph, Christina is a mother of three girls.
