By using the website “Member Area” and providing personal information to us, you acknowledge you have read this Data Privacy Policy, and, to the extent your consent is necessary and valid under applicable law, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of such personal information by the Advance Gender Equality in Business network and any third party recipients in accordance with this Data Privacy Policy.

What Personal Data We Collect
Personal information you disclose to us
Personal information that you or the Advance Ambassador of your company provides to us via the registration process in the Member Area. Collected information include: name, email address, postal address, telephone number, organisation, and job title. Some of the information is required in order to receive the benefits of being a Registered User. Those fields are marked with an *.For as long as you are a Registered User, you are responsible for providing us with accurate information about you and for keeping that information up to date. You may update your information by editing your user profile in your Account.

Personal information that you provide to us via your registration to our events and to our newsletter. The interface we are using for that reason is wufoo’s online forms, eventbrite and mailchimp.
Information automatically collected
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Site. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Site and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Site, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
It is our policy to collect only minimum information required to complete your request. If the Member Area seeks non-mandatory personal information about you, you will be notified of this at the point of collection. If you believe a website has collected excessive information about you, please contact us to raise any concerns.

How Long We Retain Your Data
We will retain your personal information on our systems only for as long as we need it, given the purposes for which it was collected, or as required to do so by law. We keep contact information (such as mailing list information) until a user unsubscribes or requests that we delete that information. We dispose of resumes when they are no longer under consideration unless the owner allows us to keep it in our files e.g. for future consideration.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We endeavour to protect personal data, but we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to or by us.
This privacy policy will be updated as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by an updated ‘revised’ date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
