Play the hidden rules SMARTLY
Make use of the hidden rules of the glass ceiling and learn how to play them smartly to your own advantage.
In this interactive workshop, you will learn how gender specific communication impacts your chances of success in an environment which is dominated by male players. Present yourself as the Queen in chess. Learn how to say what you want to say. Position yourself successfully. Learn how to make a difference from the very beginning by the way you greet. Inspire respect and enhance your impact on a personal and professional level.
Outcomes

- understand the differences between hierarchical and non-hierarchical communication – and their effects in everyday working life
- understand the hidden rules of the glass ceiling
- know how to make use of these rules to your own advantage if you play them smartly
- understand the importance of conclusive body language and know how to apply it
- know the most important rules for meetings – and how to inspire respect
Target Audience
- Exclusively for female managers
- Mid-level high potential female managers with at least 8 years of working experience
- Max. 22 participants from different Advance member companies

Marion started her professional career with OTTO’s, first as Re-buyer, then Head of Controlling and Head of Marketing in Children’s Wear. She switched to Women’s Wear at the age of 30, where she headed up the project “Young Fashion” and became Head of Economics and Re-buying of the division, the youngest member of OTTO’s executive staff. Apart from her passion for anything she does, her sense of humor enables her to face the challenges of life with a pinch of salt. With her inspiring style she delivers even the driest topic in an entertaining and comprehensive way.
