Dare to build a safe space and empower the individuals in your team to grow and succeed!
In a world where innovation, risk taking, and change is celebrated, are we really aware of the foundation or “springboard” needed for individuals to take the leap? What is psychological safety, what builds it up, and what can destroy it in the blink of an eye?
In this workshop we will develop new skills, including storytelling, conflict management, and role modeling, all towards creating a safe space for the people in our team. Even more importantly, we will spend time understanding our own triggers and responses, however subtle, that can break down everything we have worked to build up, to ensure you can keep and consolidate what you have – an empowering safe space for a high performing team!
The workshop is designed to be experiential, providing you with many opportunities to practice and experience these methodologies for yourself. Setting your intentions will build your confidence while defined goals will bring you to action.
Outcomes
You will
- understand what psychological safety is, and the benefits of building safe spaces
- develop methods to easily and quickly recognize the level of safety felt by the people around you
- dare to explore your own triggers that disrupt your intentions and take back ownership of your actions
- practice how to role model vulnerability, empathy, and courage

- For female & male line managers and team leads with direct reports
- Max. 20 participants from different Advance member companies

- Full day workshop, 09:00 – 17:00
- Follow-up 90-minute group call after a week- to deepen the learning & reflect on first experiences October 31, 2024
- 1 credit per participant. Additional credits can be bought for 1300 CHF per participant
