Promote Corporate Culture and Individual Development

Mentoring can be the catalyst to accelerate both people development and corporate culture. Join us to learn first-hand how Accenture and skyguide designed their Mentoring Programs and experience what they learnt along the way.

There’s an extra boost: having an impactful mentoring program navigates your company closer to Stage III, “we promote” of the Gender Maturity Compass as introduced in the 2020 Gender Intelligence Report.

Get the toolkit to build your ideal mentoring initiative!

Mentoring programs come in different shapes and sizes, serve different purposes and realize different outcomes because of this. Though some things are for sure: you need creativity in design, leadership support and a robust plan to make it happen. If you are sitting with questions like ‘what would our ideal mentoring program look like?’ or ‘how can we bring new energy into our existing program?’ then come and ask your questions directly to Accenture and skyguide.

join us for this moderated and interactive session to

  • understand the benefit a mentoring program can bring to your organization
  • have a clear idea on the key success factors in setting up and running a mentoring program
  • practically learn how to position and frame the mentoring program that is right for your organization
  • review your existing mentoring program – is it doing what it set out to do?
  • hear from beneficiaries within Accenture’s and skyguide’s mentoring programs
  • engage in a lively Q&A with your peers on how to engage leadership and how to measure success

This workshop targets D&I professionals, HR and Business Leaders with a responsibility and the drive to effectively shape gender equality and their corporate culture.

Christiane Damal

Head People and Training Development and Head Diversity and Inclusion at skyguide

Christiane’s investment in Diversity started in the 80s with the programme “Des paroles aux actes”- “Taten statt Worte” – “Actions instead of words” – which aimed to increase the number of women in leading positions in Switzerland. In 1987 Christiane implemented a promotions program in a regional bank. The proof of this success is that still today this bank has more than 50% women in management positions.

Since 2000 Christiane has been actively promoting diversity in skyguide. Various initiatives are now supporting female promotions in this male-dominated environment. Dedicated training for women, talent management, coaching and mentoring are measures to increase the female quota. skyguide also works on recruitment issues, branding (gender neutral), family care and managerial training.

For the coming year, “inclusion” will be the focus with the aim to have all skyguide employees valued for who they are and for what they contribute.

Having started her career as a traditional HR specialist, Christiane further developed within Training and dedicated her career to design, develop, implement and manage managerial and soft skills training programs for skyguide. Christiane became an accredited coach, using her skills not only within the managerial training but within Diversity & Inclusion work. Christiane is also very active in HR training at a vocational school in Geneva which delivers the Federal HR Certificate and Diploma.

Born in Germany, brought up in Geneva and having spent part of her life abroad (Morocco and India), her multi-culturalism supports her curiosity for other countries and cultures. Christiane enjoys travelling worldwide – hopefully this will be possible again soon. Last but not least, empowering women is in her DNA and she is very active in an international women’s club for the promotion of scholarships for women in Switzerland.
